I'm Alexis Brinez, a musician before I was a DJ. I grew up in Colombia, where — as across Latin America — music is part of every celebration. I played live for many years, advised musicians at a large audio and video store, and taught music. Today I play weddings, anniversaries, graduations and corporate events across Long Island and New York, for families from every country.

I know how much time, effort, money and hope go into a celebration. So I prepare: I listen, plan the music around your moments, anticipate what could go wrong and arrive ready. The planning is never improvised — the music can be, when the moment calls for it.
